Blyth Morrell, Senior Manager, Blackwell Interactive at Duke University
Blyth joined Duke University in February 2000. With a background in English Communications, her passion lies in creative writing and design. A former designer/developer in the school of Arts & Sciences, web strategy has become more of a hobby and less of a job.
In her time at Duke, Blyth has worn many hats, ranging from print and web design to overall management and implementation of web services and strategic consulting. As the former Director of Web Services in the School of Arts and Sciences she worked to transition what was the Web Solutions Team (WeST) to the central Office of Information Technology’s web services arm, Blackwell Interactive. There, as Senior Manager, she works on a broad range of projects including the coordination of infrastructure, media services and enterprise application development.
