Sam Jackson, Student Blogger
Sam Jackson, a 2007 graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter (NH), started to blog in December 2005 about his experience in searching for the best college. In July 2006, he launched a new blog entirely focused on the college admission process: The Sam Jackson College Experience. In a witty and fresh style, this high school student has offered on his blog a rare glimpse at the mind of the elusive prospective student and analyzed many college marketing tactics.
Sam’s blog is read by his peers, but also by admission officers, other higher ed professionals and several marketing consultants.
Sam plans to keep blogging as he continues his studies at Yale University in the fall.
