Mike Caulfield, director of Web communications at Keene State College, will explain why and how his institution launched ``About Keene and After,`` a private social networking website targeted to alums, in almost no time and no cost by leveraging the Ning platform. Mike will also share good tips and practical advice to jump start and nurture a community.

- Feel free to gather your team members around your computer or a larger campus group in front of a screen with an LCD projector.
- Audio is done via voice over IP. As a result, a phone line isn't necessary.
- Attending institutions get a 1-week free access to the recorded sessions of the series just after the live events as part of their registration.

Mark Greenfield has worked at the University at Buffalo for over 20 years. He has been a full time web professional for the past 12 years, currently serving as Director, Office of Web Services.
Adam Stahr is the Assistant Director for Special Communication in the Office of Admissions at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He serves as the yield enhancement specialist, managing the telecounseling student recruitment program as well as the ClubRed online community for admitted students.
Mike Caufield, Keene State College
Mike Caulfield is the Director of Online Communications for Keene State College, where he is responsible for implementation of net-enabled strategies in the areas of media relations, academic technology, undergraduate recruitment, fundraising, and community building.
