Why (and how to) present and publish to advance your #highered career in 2020

Sharing to advance your higher ed career We love to share in higher education. It’s part of our culture. Our industry is probably the only one where competitors (institutions competing for the best students, faculty or resources) exchange homework, tutor each other and embrace artistic borrowing as a way of getting things done – fast […]

  • If you’re involved in web analytics at your institution this course is a must. It goes beyond the basics to teach you about Universal Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other great custom report features that can make your data collection more effective.
The instructor is knowledgeable and very helpful when you have questions. Other students taking the course allow for some great networking opportunities and each assignment builds on the next culminating in the final project. I’ll be able to expand on my final project to make our site analytics more useful and our marketing more effective.

  • We use a lot of jargon in Human Resources, and the material isn’t always exciting. This course made me rethink organizing my written material so that it is a great deal more succinct and appealing to the reader who is just trying to get the facts, fast. I was worried the course wouldn’t be applicable to me since I’m not recruiting students, but it was!

  • Wonderful class! Even though I have been working with social media platforms for several years, I still found the class to be a terrific learning experience. I was always excited to start implementing what I learned each week to help improve our social media presence.

Lots of wonderful nuggets of useful information from each lightning session. Almost every session was directly applicable to our institutions website. The handful that weren’t of interest to us was solely due to our particular area of oversight for our audience- they were still fantastic presentations!
