Week 1 Discussion – Due

Brainstorming about goals, objectives, conversions, metrics & issues!

Class discussionYou are going to create the final draft of your measurement plan for your first course assignment due on Sunday.

Identifying measurable objectives is key to this first important step. But, it can feel intimidating or, even, overwhelming.

So, let’s break down what can look like a complex task into more manageable steps.

Thinking about your personal situation at work, answer the following groups of questions the best you can by posting a reply to each of my blue comments (scroll down to see them) before Wednesday 11:59PM ET.

  1. What are your departmental or job position objectives? With what institutional or business goal(s) do they align and how?
  2. What should be your macro and micro conversion(s) in relation to your objective(s)? What metrics should you use to measure your objective(s)? Why?
  3. What (if anything) do you need in order to set things up to measure your objective(s)?
  4. What issues, challenges or roadblocks do you face at this stage?

By Friday 11:59PM ET, review and evaluate all the answers from 2 classmates to suggest a possible solution to help them mitigate at least one (or more!) of the issues, challenges or roadblocks they identified in their answer to question #4.

Don’t forget!
Your initial answers should be submitted by Wednesday night at 11:59PM ET. Respond to at least 2 of your peers’ comments by Friday night at 11:59PM ET.
