Data Analysis/Segmentation Summary
As you’re collecting data to monitor the KPIs and conversions aligned with your objective(s), you now start to see the high-level impact of your web efforts.
Unfortunately, big pictures often lack focus and clarity, so it’s important to remember to zoom in with the help of… questions, the questions you want to answer with your data.
The goal of this week’s assignment is to help you explore the type of questions you need to answer to find out what works and what doesn’t, what to continue and what to stop in your web efforts.
This assignment counts for 10% of your final grade and this assignment rubric (pdf) will be used to grade it.
Reviewing this week’s short video lessons and exploring the different data analysis techniques, your answers to this week’s brainstorming discussion and the feedback you received, share a summary of the analysis and/or segmentation work you performed this week for your instructor to assess.
Your 1- to 2-page Analysis/Segmentation Summary should include the following components:
- 2 to 4 of the questions pertaining to your objective(s), questions that you want to answer with data
- For each question,
- explain in a paragraph the analysis/segmentation technique you chose to use to find the answer in the data and justify briefly this choice – you can use screenshots to illustrate your explanation.
- write a paragraph to provide the answer you found in the data
- Feel free to include any outstanding issues you encountered during your analysis, so your instructor can offer some direction if needed.
Save your assignment as a PDF document using the following file name format: wk3_firstname_lastname (for John Doe, wk3_john_doe.pdf) and submit it by Sunday 11:59PM ET as a comment.
Don’t forget to make your reply private.
