Seth Meranda, Assistant Director for Interactive Media, Office of Admissions, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Seth Meranda, a UNL alum, oversees the interactive marketing and development of recruitment focused technologies for the Office of Admissions. This includes the design, development and maintenance of custom applications for the Office of Admissions and the New Student Enrollment websites. It also involves the advancement of CRM strategies — more specifically the designing and tracking of personalized, custom HTML email marketing messages and campaigns. He has been in this position for three years.
In addition to his responsibilities for the Office of Admissions, Seth contributes to the UNL web developer network, a close group of designers and developers from across the UNL campus who are devoted to advancing the University’s web presence. The team collaborated in 2006 to create a fresh, campus-wide website overhaul and continues to support the design by developing standards-based enhancements in the form of database applications, interfaces and analytical strategies.
In 2007, Seth began the Interactive Media for Higher Education blog, where he discusses the latest interactive technologies and trends and how they intertwine with student recruitment.
