Chris MockoChris Mocko, Management Science and Engineering Graduate Student, Stanford University

Chris got involved with Facebook applications during a Stanford course on building engaging applications, where he lead a team of three in creating a viral application that reached one million users in less than a month (KissMe).  Now with over 2 million installations, he is beginning work on applications and features that focus on user engagement rather than growth.

Chris will receive his Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Stanford University in March 2008, and expects a Master of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering the following year.  Chris is also a four-year member of Stanford’s Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field programs.

Chris spent this past year as an intern at Google as a Business Analyst working on user interfaces for web-based tools for managers and data mining of employee records.  He spent the previous summer at the consulting company Booz Allen Hamilton as a computer programming intern developing software for a military-grade PDA.

Upon graduation, Chris plans to remain in the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue a career in entrepreneurship, specifically interested in technology ventures.
