Bill Zimmerman, Social media manager - Penn State

As social media manager in the Office of Strategic Communications, Bill oversees planning and administration of Penn State’s official Facebook and LinkedIn accounts as well as contributes to content production and curation across platforms. Additionally, he serves on the issues management team, is a contributor to Penn State News as a writer and photographer, and is host of “This is Penn State,” a web series that looks at the expertise, commitment and creativity of Penn Staters.

Bill has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in higher education from Penn State. He is also an adjunct lecturer of journalism in Penn State’s College of Communications.
