Katie Halberg, Social Media Program Director, Wright State University
An expert in social media crisis communications, Katie Halberg has led institutional social media and marketing efforts through nearly two decades of issues.
Her experience includes a canceled presidential debate, noxious chemical spill in campus underground tunnel system, viral images of a student standing on American flag on campus, gun fired on campus, federal legal issues, leadership crises, financial crises, layoffs, sustained faculty union strike, enrollment plummet, car fire outside our famous library archives, local mass shooting, tornadoes, and now, the coronavirus pandemic. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Towson University.
