Philip Jones, Director of Social Media - the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Philip loves nothing more than telling a good story. For almost seven years he did his storytelling on television as a news reporter and anchor. Now, he tells the stories of his alma mater through UNC-Chapel Hill’s social media channels. Philip joined Carolina’s social media team at the start of 2015 after almost two years of managing social media for Elon University. His team at Carolina plans and executes the university’s social media content, strategy, marketing, real-time reputation management efforts and ambassador programs that engage thousands of Tar Heels on a daily basis.
