Rainbow Wong, Senior Manager, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong

With over 10 years of experience in the higher education and non-profit sectors, Rainbow currently serves as the Senior Manager in the Knowledge Exchange & Faculty Advancement team at HKUMed. In this capacity, she oversees the Faculty’s branding, events and digital communications portfolios.

Under her leadership, a team of dedicated colleagues has achieved exemplary results in driving public engagement and advancing the Faculty’s brand and vision by curating and producing high-quality content on digital and social media platforms. The team also looks after many aspects of the HKUMed brand, from visual design and events to community outreach and crisis management.

Before HKUMed, Rainbow spent years in the public relations field and also in arts management. She earned an MFA in Arts & Event Management at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She also holds a BBA in Marketing at The University of Hong Kong.

Apart from her role at HKUMed, Rainbow also serves as the Senior Resident Tutor at Chi Sun College, HKU, where she develops experiential learning programmes for a multinational and cross-discipline student body.
