If you’re involved in web analytics at your institution this course is a must. It goes beyond the basics to teach you about Universal Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other great custom report features that can make your data collection more effective.
The instructor is knowledgeable and very helpful when you have questions. Other students taking the course allow for some great networking opportunities and each assignment builds on the next culminating in the final project. I’ll be able to expand on my final project to make our site analytics more useful and our marketing more effective.
We enjoyed the quick hits of ten minute sessions, enough to get ideas but not more than what can be absorbed in one sitting. The two minutes in between sessions gave my group a chance to talk about what bubbled to the top for each of us in each session.
This conference provided great tips and strategies for many different aspects of social media. It’s so helpful to hear how other campuses are managing, implementing and measuring their content and platforms. It was the best conference I have attended this year.
The course gave me an excellent introduction to Google Analytics that is helping me focus on more informative data about our website usage. It directed me to think about what I need to know about our audience and how they use our website and from there how Google Analytics can provide those insights.
