The conference was well paced with short and succinct presentations. Topics were chosen thoughtfully to cover different aspects of social media usage. Totally worth staying awake after midnight for 4 hours with my team to brainstorm and learn together.

It was nice to be in an intimate and comfortable setting with colleagues while getting to listen to the informative talks. The conference was done in such a way that it was very accessible and I could leave if needed. It was very unique and fun.

Lots of wonderful nuggets of useful information from each lightning session. Almost every session was directly applicable to our institutions website. The handful that weren’t of interest to us was solely due to our particular area of oversight for our audience- they were still fantastic presentations!

I highly recommend this course for anyone who writes social media posts, emails and web copy for a higher education institution.
It turns institutional voice upside down and helps writers focus on the audience.
