Higher Ed Experts, the online school for digital professionals working in universities, has conducted several research studies on the use of Web Analytics in institutions of higher education since 2010.
In September 2014, Google Analytics launched 3 benchmarking reports allowing to compare the performance of your university website with its peers.
Report methodology
The data compiled for this monthly report was downloaded on May 2, 2015 from Google Analytics Benchmarking Reports.
The compiled, scrubbed and analyzed data spans from April 1st to 30th, 2015 for the 7 GA buckets of 1,649 benchmarked universities websites.
