Being able to explain the value of our social media work is important, and this course will help get you there!
The experience was very beneficial for our Director of Web Development, just a bit too technical for some of our other team members. We only have 1 staff member solely dedicated to the website – the rest of us are support personnel.
The conference was a convenient way for me to share a social media-focused conference with my institution’s social media team and hit on enough topics to touch on most of their areas. It will also provide the attendees and shared experience to refer to in future conversations.
Within the first two weeks of this course, I was able to present our director of Transfer and Graduate Admissions and our dean of the School of Nursing with information showing how we could significantly increase the visibility of one of our online nursing programs by slightly tweaking how we referred to the program on our website. The information I was able to provide was so compelling that everyone involved agreed to officially CHANGE the name of the program to take advantage of the search engine optimization improvements I was suggesting.
