The content this course provides is a must-have for anyone responsible for social media marketing at their institution. When I first enrolled, I thought, “Oh this will be a breeze! My job is marketing, and I manage our social media platforms.” Was I ever wrong! From the very first week I have been introduced to valuable information and tools that I was unfamiliar with. The pace of the course allowed me to introduce what I learned to my staff, and my office, and use it in our daily practice immediately.
I really enjoyed the quick, 10-minute sessions on a wide variety of topics. It was perfectly suited for a conference on social media.
This course is very useful if you have not had the bandwidth or know-how to create a measurement plan for your website. The knowledge I gained and the classwork I completed have given me a good foundation to more effectively collect and analyze web data going forward.
I highly recommend this course. There is a good amount of work associated with the course, if you truly want to complete all readings, videos, and assignments to the best of your ability. However, if you do put the time in and do all that’s asked of you, the result is incredibly rewarding. You come out with a very good understanding of web analytics and how to put analytics in motion.
